Hier ein weiterer Eindruck von der letzten Stadtführung:
...Das eigentlich Auffällige an der Wanderung durch das Stadtzentrum der Planstadt war eindeutig, wie wenig das architektonisch wie stadtplanerisch durchaus sehr ansehnliche Ensemble Zeichen einer aktiven Bevölkerung aufweist. Die wenigen Menschen auf den Straßen nimmt man beinahe nicht wahr. Leise, fast schüchtern, bewegen sie sich durch die grünen Höfe, wagen kaum einen Blick auf die eigenartige Gruppe, die überall stehen bleibt und noch das scheinbar Banalste fotografiert und bespricht. Die Geschäfte in der Magistrale sind allesamt bis auf das legendäre Hähnchen Eck geschlossen und wirken kaum so, als ob ihr Öffnen einen Unterschied im Stadtbild hervorrufen könnte. Die Welt hier erscheint seltsam eingefroren an diesem Spätsommernachmittag.Irgendwo in der Ferne hört man ein Automobil beschleunigen, aber das ist schon alles. Ansonsten ist es tatsächlich vor allem still. Das Flächendenkmal präsentiert sich als Architekturmuseum, wobei die weiten, verkehrslosen Straßen und die zumeist beliebigen Auslagen in den Schaufenstern zugleich als Installation für eine geschrumpfte Stadt und die ruinierten Einzelhandelsstrukturen in Ostdeutschland durchgehen. Lebt denn hier noch jemand? Oder ist das alles hier einfach ausgestellt? Es ist sehr schön, die Wohnkomplexe so abzulaufen. Man hat Zeit zum Betrachten und manchmal auch zum Staunen. Aber irgendwie schmeckt alles einen Stich zu sehr wie Museum, etwas zu sehr nach Vergangenem. Nach der Zukunft von Gestern. Und ein bisschen nach Einsamkeit.  Porta verde. Die Wohnhöfe um die Pawlowallee mausern sich zu waren Schmuckstücken, allein an Menschen fehlt's im Quartier. Kommentare

In der Schule hatte ich von der Neutronenbombe gehört, die wohl nur die organischen Strukturen zerstört, nicht aber die Bauwerke. In Eisenhüttenstadt muss eine Neutronenbombe eingeschlagen sein und ich war der letzte Überlebende! Ein leerer Bus ratterte an meinem Fensterausschnitt vorbei. Ah, zumindest ein Busfahrer hatte außer mir überlebt. Jeden Sonntag aufs neue. |
